Borussia Dortmund is Bavarian hunter number one again after a shooting festival. The strongly improved team of coach Lucien Favre celebrated a 7:0 (2:0) victory against 1. FC Nuremberg, who also deserved a 7:0 (2:0) victory at this level, and reduced the gap to the Bundesliga leader from Munich to two points as second in the table.

Jacob Bruun Larsen (9.), Marco Reus (32. and 58.), debutant Achraf Hakimi (49.), Manuel Akanji (74.), Jadon Sancho (85.) and Julian Weigl (88.) scored for the eight-time German soccer champion, who had once again competed without Mario Götze. After their second defeat of the season, the harmless guests have been waiting for a victory in Dortmund since November 1990.

Like last Saturday, Götze was not in the squad at TSG Hoffenheim (1:1), the 2014 World Cup hero has not played a single minute in the Bundesliga this season. But Hakimi made his debut in the BVB jersey. The loan from Real Madrid was used as right-back for Lukasz Piszczek and developed a lot of pressure on his side with Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic also prepared the lead in front of 75,700 spectators. He put the ball through exemplarily for Bruun Larsen, who scored his first Bundesliga goal. Two minutes later, Reus, standing freestanding in front of Nuremberg goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow, awarded the 2:0.

After the last bumpy appearances the actions of the BVB against the Franconians were much more fluid. Through a few position changes and runs into the depths, the Dortmund team managed again and again to tear holes into the defensive of the guests, who had started in a 5-3-2 system. After a nice interplay between Pulisic and Maximilian Philipp, Reus increased. The captain’s shot was deflected by Georg Margreitter.

The Nürnberger kept their defensive basic order also despite the backlog and set only from time to time needle punches. Virgil Misidjan only hit the outer net (18th) during the most dangerous action of the guests in the first round.

The Dortmunders, who had almost 75 percent ball possession in the first 45 minutes, were not in danger even after the change. Hakimi successfully finished a counterattack over the strong Reus with a nice flat shot. After playing together with Bruun Larsen, Reus scored his 100th compulsory goal for BVB from close range to 4-0.

In view of the clear lead, Favre took Reus and Axel Witsel off the pitch after a good hour to save energy for the guest performance at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. But the superiority of the BVB remained unchanged. Central defender Akanji scored the fifth goal. Casinopop has a very nice and bright graphics, also it still new in the industry.
